Can't stand the appearance of cabinets and don't have the budget to replace new cabinets? do not worry. You have a choice.
There are three options you can make yourself to enhance the appearance of your cabinets-paint, repair and redecorate.
Painting: Using high-quality enamel paint, you can choose any color you want.
It is best to remove the cabinet doors and drawers and paint them separately. You can ensure a higher quality finish by spraying paint with a cup spray gun, HVLP (high volume, low pressure) sprayer or similar system. In order to add a layer of protection and durability, please apply three to four layers of acrylic-based transparent polyurethane coating to increase the elasticity of the finished product. Repair: This option is usually the most affordable and quickest way to bring dull cabinets back to life. The cabinets must be in good condition, as repairing involves removing existing finishes, sanding, staining or painting. Stained wooden cabinets can give the illusion of any type of wood you want. You can go from stucco to dark cherry wood. However, it is difficult to go from very dark to very bright.
Refurbishment: Refurbishment includes selecting new doors and drawer panels to replace the doors and drawer panels you own. The existing cabinet is covered with a layer of finish to match your new door/drawer. There are many colors and finishes to choose from, even wood finishes.
Someone loosened the screw
After years of pushing and pulling, the hardware of the cabinet may wear out.

If the screws on the door are loose, do not install longer screws. Instead, pick up a can of Rock Hard Putty or Equal Putty at your local hardware store. Follow the instructions on the back of the putty tank. After drying, pre-drill the holes and reinsert the screws.
Tip: You may want to mark a point on the drill bit that is slightly shorter than the length of the screw as a stopping point, so that you don't over-drill the door itself. Example: If the screw enters the door 1/4 inch, make a mark at 3/16 of the drill bit.
The door is not at right angles to the rest of the cabinet: today, the hinge is made of two screws, which can be adjusted when loosened. If the seams between the two cabinet doors are not uniform, or the two cabinet doors are not completely parallel, please adjust them.
Hinge damage: If the hinge is bent, even if it is slightly bent, it will cause problems. Make sure all the boards are straight and there is no resistance when opening or closing the hinge. You may need to remove the hinge for testing. Take the defective hinge to the hardware store to match the replacement part. If it needs a bit of WD-40, please put tape on the surrounding area for spraying, or just remove the hinges for spraying.
Second-hand cabinets are difficult to find in a set. The Habitat for Humanity HabiStore in Tucson told us that they only choose complete cabinets, “no odds and ends.” The cabinets donated to the human settlement must be complete sets, in good condition, in good condition, free of water stains, doors, drawers and hardware.
